What are some best practices to remember during setup?

The four most common errors are listed below. Keep these in mind when you are setting up your Open Goal!

The poles sit on spikes in the ground. Use the poles to make sure that the spikes are firm and flat.

The anchors for the guy ropes sit below the surface of the lawn so that you can walk on top of or mow over them as necessary.

The space behind the goal is important! This space allows the net to give and stop it from hitting your fence or house. It also allows for a better rebound.

Make sure you position your Open Goal on flat ground or ground with an even slope.
