What is Open Goaaal USA's Return Policy?

Simplified version of the OGUSA Return Policy:

  • Returns are allowed for any reason within 30 days of receiving the product 
  • Return labels are only provided if the product is in some way defective or the order was wrong
  • Defective products must be reported within 30 days of receiving the product and can be replaced or repaired
  • There may be a restocking fee or refurbishment fee applied to your refund depending on the condition of the product you return (no fees apply to defective returns)
  • You must fill out the contact form to request a Return Authorization number prior to sending the product back to us for any reason

Returns and Exchanges within 30 days

We want you to be delighted with your purchase, but if you are not you can return it within 30 days of receipt as long as it complies with the following conditions.

You've changed your mind

If you decide you don't want the product for any reason, you must return it WITHIN 30 DAYS UPON ARRIVAL OF THE PRODUCT.  The product must be returned with all components originally received. If you don't return all packaging, parts, and accessories) there will be a fee associated and will be deducted from your refund (if applicable) equaling the cost to replace any missing items. No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. We do not provide return labels or refunds for return shipping for products returned within 30-day return policy. Please fill out the contact form to request a return authorization number. 

We reserve the right to make a refurbishment charge (for breach of statutory duty to take reasonable care) for elements of the products that are returned in a damaged condition making them non-resellable.

You have the responsibility to take reasonable care of the goods while in your possession.  We consider it reasonable for you to carefully open the box and examine the goods inside, but not to erect the goal.

Your duty of care extends to ensuring that the goods are not damaged in transit, and so re-packing should be carefully undertaken.

If the return is a cancellation of the contract under the Distance Selling Regulations (UK Orders Only) and so is communicated to us by email within 7 working days beginning with the day you received the product, then we will refund the full price of the product you purchased and the original delivery price, but you are required to pay the cost of returning it.

There’s a fault with your product

We hope our product arrives with you in perfect condition.  We quality check each net individually to ensure that there are no cuts, tears or breaks.

If you believe there is a fault with the product, then please email a picture to us of what you believe the issue is.

We offer a 1-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. If we agree there is a fault in the workmanship of the product we will refund, replace, or repair the part(s) in question at our discretion. 

You’ve been sent an incorrect product

If you believe an incorrect item has been sent, please email a picture to us of what you believe to be incorrect and we will replace it with the correct item. We may require you to return the incorrect item to us before the correct one is sent to you. We will provide a prepaid return label in these cases.

If the correct item is then delivered and the incorrect item has not been returned, then you will be liable for the cost of this item.

How to send it back

Before returning your product, you must fill out the contact form advising of the issue, and we will provide you with a Return Authorization Form and an RA Number to complete and include with the return. We do not provide refunds for return shipping or return labels for products returned within 30-day return policy unless there is a manufacturer's defect or we have made an error in fulfilling your order.

Please write this RA number on your return shipping label (not on the box), and attach the label on the side of the box covering the original shipping label, not on the front of the box.

We recommend shipping through UPS as it is normally less expensive to ship large items through UPS rather than the United States Postal Service. Regardless of what service you choose to ship from you can purchase a label from the company's respective website and print the label at your home. You may then drop the package off at a local UPS store or Post Office; most customers will even have the option to schedule a pickup if they desire Pickups are scheduled through either the UPS or USPS website, not through our customer service department.

We will usually process your refund as soon as possible, and in any case, within 14 days following receipt back at our warehouse.  We cannot refund if the product you sent does not arrive back at our warehouse, so ensure you keep the tracking number. In the event that your item is lost in shipment we will not be able to provide a refund for a lost package if a valid tracking number is not provided to verify that the product was shipped.
